The suite was spotless, included central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave. The bed was quiet, the bathroom was large. Location: the hotel was very close to other facilities...

A cozy home away from home
The fully furnished kitchen. The clean and organized grounds included picnic tables and a BBQ, perfect for evening gatherings.
Unfortunately, our room's A/C wasn't cooled down before check-in. I noticed a few scuffs on the furniture that could use some attention.

Short / easy drive from interstate. The cleanliness of the room - even smelt clean rare with some hotels. Property well taken care of. Affordable price - wasn't much more than some well we'll say not so good hotels. Other tenants where quite. Felt safe. Managment very friendly and accommodated my request when I booked the room.
Not a big issue but could here noise from the local Fair which was just a few hundred yards away. This may be because my room was on the end of the building near the road. Again not a big issue.

This place had the audacity to leave my room at 80 degrees upon arrival, not to mention the cigarette burns on my bathroom vanity. I woudl ve been thrilled with a small welcome treat to ease my irritation, but alas, nothing. Next time, i'll reconsider my options before slumming it here.

Our suite was small, but perfectly adequate for a weekend stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (my husband, who always complains about his back when we're on trips, got a great night's sleep. The place was clean, quiet, and close enough to the Interstate to easily access any place in town we wanted to go to. The proprietor, Annette, is very helpful and friendly.
It was OUR mistake to assume that an extended-stay facility would have the same amenities as a motel. This place is set up for people who need a temporary "home away from home;" as such, the furnishings are minimal. E.g., there are no dishes or utensils in the kitchenette area; no additional blankets to the one on the bed; no hair dryer or complementary toiletries. The next time we stay there, we will know to bring such extras with us.

Amazingly accommodating and friendly staff. Affordable suites is a long term stay for people over 21, not for families. It is very clean, very functional, right off the highway (85N, but far enough so it is very quiet)) between Charlotte and Greensboro.

Clean, very nice and helpful staff
no shampoo, however this is more of an extended stay business traveler hotel.

I appreciated the small kitchenette with a full-sized fridge and cookware, which allowed me to prepare meals and feel at home. The convenience of on-site BBQ facilities and picnic tables added a perfect touch for evenings spent outdoors, surrounded by nature.
The hotel is an older building, which may not appeal to everyone.
